5 Podcast Episodes that you’ll listen to Again

All the cool people listen to podcasts.  Seriously.  At least, I’m pretty sure they do.  I know I do, so… yeah.

In case you missed it, I love podcasts, like- LOVE podcasts.  Podcasts are awesome because you can find a podcast for just about anything.  Want to learn how to start your own business? NEW and IMPROVED Pumpkin Spice Latte

NEW and IMPROVED Pumpkin Spice Latte

Omgeeze you guys.

I thought my original Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte (henceforth PSL… whatever, I know I’m anything but basic) was fine. It calmed the craving of the season, and cut calories and sugar in half from Starbucks. In fact, I’ve been enjoying this version for at least the last four years. And it’s still good, don’t get me wrong… but I found something else.

Running: Out of my Comfort Zone

Running: Out of my Comfort Zone

I am not a fan of running in general.  Honestly, I admire people who can just get out and run, but I’m not one of them. Not that I’m against all cardio, there are several activities that I actually enjoy. An hour of cycling? Sure. Kickboxing? All in. But running? Not so much. In fact I’ve always joked that if you see me running, you should probably run too…

The house renovation is happening and there is not a single room in the house where someone who likes things tidy and clutter-free can breathe easily.  So what do I do when the stress and overwhelm of the situation hits like a ton of bricks? Back to School and Back on Track

I don't know about you, but summer just kind of "happened" to me.  There’s really no other way to describe the last 3 months other than that.  I’m not entirely sure how they happened, but they did.  75% of the time I didn’t know what day it was, and imagine my shock when I realized that it’s already the end of August.  AUGUST FRIENDS, August.  What the what?!?

Unfortunately, when things like this just happen, that usually means schedule and routine are off. And when routines get off for whatever reason (whether it be summer, an injury, a celebration, or a sorrow) one of the easiest things to let slide is how we take care of ourselves; especially in the health and fitness category.

Quick and Easy Zoodles with Avocado Pesto

Quick and Easy Zoodles with Avocado Pesto

This recipe is SO EASY, it's almost like cheating.  Seriously.  Not only that, but you can adjust amounts and add-ins to switch it up, or to your specific taste.  In our house, we like this pasta creamy, so I use a higher avocado pesto to zoodle ratio that you may like.  However, that's the great thing about this "recipe," you can easily adjust this to your preferences.

All you really have to do is combine two of super easy recipes together and BAM! Dinner is served.
