PERSONAL TRAINING (One on One and Small Group)

It’s official! I’m now personal training in only ONE gym. And it’s wonderful.

Instead of running around like a crazy person, this year I’ll be doing all my in-gym personal training at The Heights in Richmond Height, MO.

The Heights (The Richmond Heights Fitness Center),
8001 Dale Ave, St. Louis, MO 63117

The Heights is in the process of finishing a huge remodel so some of the areas (including the pool, track, and the courts) are currently closed. However the grand Re-Opening celebration is scheduled for March 15th, which is right around the corner. It’s been exciting to see all the pieces coming together over the last month, and I can’t wait to see everything open. I'm super excited about this new space, and I hope you are as well!

I currently have a few spots for new in-person clients which I will keep open through the end of February. After that, I will not be taking any new in-person clients until July 2020.

ONLINE TRAINING

What the heck is online training?

Well, it’s similar to personal training, but not.

With online training, you get a monthly check-in call as well as weekly workouts that are designed to fit your goals, schedule, and lifestyle. While you don’t get nutritional or lifestyle coaching with online training, you can combine online training with in-person training sessions and/or online coaching (see below) if you are looking for an even more personalized experience.

Online training is an excellent option if you still want a workout schedule that is personalize for you, but you:

ONLINE COACHING

If you don’t quite feel like you’re living the FRICKin Good Life, but are ready to make some changes, this is for you.

On top of my training certifications, I’m also a certified Behavioral Change Specialist, which is basically a fancy way of saying I can help you get unstuck.

Health is so much more than fitness alone, and with coaching we can dive into all of the aspects that impact your health and wellbeing.

Topics may include:

  • Fitness

  • Nutrition

  • Relationships (of all sorts)

  • Time and Energy Management

  • As well as a variety of other topics.

No, I’m not a therapist or certified counselor. But as a healthy living life coach we can work together to build your best life. I’ve also got lots of resources and tools to guide you with if you need someone with more expertise than me.

CLASSES

I love my students, and I love teaching. While I have cut back on the number of classes I am currently instruction, you can find my current class schedule here.

EBOOKS AND COURSES (Coming Soon!)

No, you did not read that wrong. It’s finally happening. After years of being asked to put out more online material and resources, I have finally decided… why not?!?

I’ve currently got a few Ebooks in the works, and I can’t wait to share the first one with you. Nothing is finished yet, but stay tuned for sneak peaks and the reveal.

So there you go. All the exciting things that are going on here at The FRICKin Good Life. But I know there there’s something else you’re wanting to know…. So here’s the deal.

MATERNITY LEAVE & AFTER

It almost seems a bit surreal to talk about this, but right now, these are the questions I get asked the most.

“When are you going on maternity leave?” And. “How long are you planning on being out?”

As of right now my intention is to train through at least the beginning of April and teach until the end of March. I am scheduling clients through April 3rd, and March 31st will be my last day teaching. However, if the beginning of April rolls around and I still feel good, I will schedule in-person clients on a case by case basis. I will continue to train online clients through the entirety of my maternity leave, but with less weekly check-ins.

Baby Z is “due” April 15th, and while not a tax deduction this year (yup, I've heard that one once or twice. It was even suggested that if it’s a girl, we name her Iris… like I.R.S. I just can’t), I plan I continuing to work as long as I can. Of course there are possibilities that things could come up, but barring unforeseen circumstances, I'll be training as long as I can.

As of this moment I am tentatively planning on being out of the gym for 3 months. If any of my in-person clients are interested in training with another trainer while I am gone, I will help set that up.

I will also continue to offer online training throughout my “leave,” though it will look a little different than my normal online training. Clients will receive an entire month-long program up front and instead of daily weekday check-ins, I will check-in at least once a week through the month of April.

The last day to sign-up for online training will be April 6th and will begin to take new online clients at the end of May.

As of now, I intend to be back in the gym mid July.  However, when I return, I will only be in the gym part-time. I will take new in-person clients and groups at the time, pending on schedule openings and availability.

So here’s the thing. Some of this is TBD as this is the first time I've done this. I’m not entirely sure what to expect. Who knows, maybe I'll be ready to come back part time sooner. What I do know, is this will be my only opportunity to be with Baby Z for the first part of its life, and I don’t want to feel rushed.

Yes, some of this may change, but this is the plan as of now. You can keep up-to-date on my plans by subscribing to the Best Stuff emails and/or following me on the socials (I’m currently most active on Instagram).

So here’s to 2020 and a fabulous year of transitions and changes. Let’s do this.
